While other developers compete for projects in Waukee and Ankeny, we think ahead to the next “growth” area in the metro. Then we throw gas on the flame to expedite the value by placemaking and creating a destination where people want to be.

Diligent was born by relationships. Our history shapes us, having relied on relationships to acquire distressed and value-add property from inception. Today we find ourselves shaping the backyard of our owner’s community. We leverage other platforms for access to investors and lenders. Diligent has spent the past decade building out a team fit for the projects it undertakes. Our owners continue to grow in the real estate industry and act as sages guiding the company to its future. A management staff now dedicates their full attention to directing and implementing. Lastly, knowledgeable industry experts consult the company and allow us to maintain flexibility.
