Diligent Development Group has formed a joint venture (East Village DSM Development, L.L.C.) with an undisclosed party to be the Development Manager overseeing the redevelopment of the former Dewey Ford site located in the East Village, in downtown Des Moines. The project, located at 219 E. Grand Avenue, will be leased to a single-tenant retailer. Terms can't be disclosed at this time, but the parties are negotiating a letter of intent with the end user. When the lease is signed, work will commence on the re-development. Occupancy is expected by July 2008.
